Job Description
The School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics are pleased to announce the opening for a Sr. Finance & Accounting Analyst. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department's mission and goals for our finance team.
Detailed Description :
- Budgeting and forecasting as well as financial planning.
- Prepare and verify amounts and codes for various standard accounting entries, data input or other forms, and encode and obtain necessary approvals for processing.
- Prepare, review and / or approve accounting transactions that are non-recurring and / or requires a knowledge of fund accounting principles.
- Perform complex analytical assignments requiring thorough understanding of the University's financial information and its relationships to the accounting profession.
- Independently assist and advise administrators and faculty on accounting related matters. Instruct and advise support staff on financial and accounting methods and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Shift
Shift Type : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
