Job Description

Job Title : Pharmacy Technician

Job Specialty : Outpatient Pharmacy Tech

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (10 : 40 AM - 7 : 10 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience, including 1 year in the specialty

License : MO or Compact licensure required at the time of application

Certifications : CPI Blue Card required for all Behavioral Health RNs and LCSWs

Must-Have : COVID-19 Vaccine, Flu Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)

Job Description :

• Most shifts are Monday to Friday, 10 : 40 AM to 7 : 10 PM, with some shifts starting as early as 7 AM and ending at 7 PM depending on the location.
• Required to work every 4th weekend; compensation days provided, ensuring a net of 40 hours per week.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Two references from a charge nurse or above are required at the time of application.
• Required to work 50% of holidays and weekends during the contract, unless stated otherwise.
• Floating is mandatory. All team members are expected to float to various areas as Patient Observer Sitters.
• ICU staff may float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical (MS) units.
• PCU staff may float to MS or ICU units.
• MS staff may float to MS / Tele units.
• Pediatrics staff may float anywhere within the organization as Patient Observer Sitters.
• Post-Partum staff may float to MS units.
• Labor & Delivery staff may float within Maternal / Child departments.
• Completion of modules, which vary by specialty and are assessed annually, is required. Modules are non-billable, average 4-6 hours, and completed during orientation.
• Orientation is 8 hours, non-billable.
