Job Description
Serve as liaison between the community and the Adventure Club program. Greet customers to receive payments and process enrollment forms for Adventure Club families. Focuses on completing work effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner. Ability to cross train in other areas as needed and to provide clerical support to all staff members. Ability to utilize the copy machine, fax machine, computer, communicate effectively through e-mail and network space. Use existing procedures to solve routine problems and perform a variety of tasks and activities. Adhere to University and Adventure Club policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned.

Shift
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (may vary on occasion)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, business or experience in accounting or a related area.
- Positive attitude, consistent and dependable work attendance
- Organized with a thorough attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate proficiently through Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for errands required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check as well as an addition FBI fingerprinting check.
- Ability to use the following computer programs and software efficiently, Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet, childcare database, and Network Space.
- People Soft knowledge preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate electronically after hours when needed (via text or phone). It is understood that compensation is sufficient to cover the cost of the services. The University does not reimburse for cell phone service charges.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $17.50 - $20.50 hourly
Grade: GGS-005

New employees may qualify for a special one-time incentive payment by agreeing to remain employed by the University during a two-year period. If the employee does not remain employed by the University through the end of the two-year period because employee voluntarily resigns or is terminated by the University for cause, the employee would agree the hiring incentive shall be returned following a schedule based on time worked.
