Through the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), we seek candidates for an exclusive internship program designed to increase and diversify the number of professionals in educational advancement and attract students who may not have previously considered a career in institutional advancement. This program will occur May 28 through July 25, 2025, and includes in-depth work experience, education, and all-expenses-paid attendance at a national CASE conference in Washington D.C., June 22-24, 2024. This program will provide you with the opportunity to assist our Marketing Communications team by researching post-campaign communication strategies. In this role, you will be exposed to several departments and team members including advancement, donor experience, marketing communications, and advancement services.
Ways you’ll contribute:
- Conduct a peer study to explore how top-tier higher education institutions showcase their campaign successes and impact.
- Network with peer institutions to gather insights on post-campaign impact reports, stewardship, communications, publications and events.
- Create a comprehensive final summary plan with actionable next steps.
- Collaborate with and learn from dynamic marketing communications and donor experience teams on a variety of impactful projects.

What you need:
- Education: Current student status (Undergraduate or Graduate Student) within the University of Nebraska. Preferred Education/Experience: Leadership involvement on campus; project management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while always keeping the needs of the donor foremost and working with little supervision.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills when working with a variety of people.
- Exposure and aptitude to learn Microsoft Office Suite.
