This paid internship offers a flexible schedule (14 to 16 hours/week), professional workplace experience, learning opportunities, and a convenient work location in downtown Lincoln. The year-round internship begins in April. Preference will be given to students who can work over the summer and for multiple semesters.
Ways you will make an impact:
- Coordinate and support the scholarship recipient engagement program to foster meaningful connections between recipients and donors.
- Support the donor recognition process.
- Conduct project research and assist in stewardship for top donors to enhance donor relationships.
- Assist with other stewardship initiatives as assigned or requested.

What you need:
- Current student status as an undergraduate or graduate in the University of Nebraska System.
- Experience in writing or journalism is preferred.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Capability to travel to UNL campus when needed.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and working with little supervision.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills when working with a variety of people.
- Exposure and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
