As the Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in guiding the Foundation’s investment efforts and have the satisfaction of knowing you are a significant contributor to our mission. This is an opportunity to join an established and growing institutional investment office focused on supporting a leading land grant university with four campuses and more than 50,000 students. With this role you can expect the intellectual freedom to pursue a broad range of investment projects and the opportunity to contribute to our success.
Ways you will make an impact:
- Work closely with the foundation’s CIO, investment office staff, and foundation staff to manage the investment efforts of multiple portfolios.
- Serve as an investment generalist across multiple portfolios and asset classes and increase body of knowledge.
- Manage research and ongoing due diligence process for several dozen retained and potential investment managers and service providers.
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis on multiple portfolios.
- Review and refine asset allocation and risk attribution for each portfolio.
- Evaluation of investment opportunities with an emphasis on private markets.
- Assist with various ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

What you need:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred Education: MBA or business-related master’s degree or CFA/CAIA senior designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum Experience: Two years of institutional investment experience, including research/diligence related to manager selection, portfolio analysis and management, policy formulation, securities trading, and similar related functions.
- Analytical strengths, including strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience utilizing the Bloomberg terminal, Pitchbook, Burgiss, or other investment technology platforms is preferred.
