The Director of Operations at the UNMC Douglas A. Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex (RHEC) serves as the administrator for the shared operations and personnel supporting the UNMC Colleges of Allied Health Professions, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Public Health and as the primary liaison to the college administrators and the community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, hiring and supervision of all shared staff positions, administration of human resource policies and procedures, serving as the liaison to UNK facilities for buildings management, providing fiscal oversight and management of shared resources, procurement, and serving as the single point of contact for community engagement. The Director of Operations will report to the UNMC Assistant Vice Chancellor for Health Workforce Education Relations (TBD), while also working closely with the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Business & Finance, the Interprofessional Leadership Council and the lead college administrators (Associate and Assistant Deans) of each UNMC college.
