The UCEDD Project Manager will work to ensure projects move forward based on both time and budget. This position plays an integral role in the communication between funders, sponsors, sites, and team members and acts as a liaison between UCEDD project staff, other UNMC divisions and departments, community partners, and institutions necessary to complete the project.

The University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) Project Manager is responsible for assisting the UCEDD Principal Investigators and related administrators in project management, coordination of projects and operations, and the implementation of program evaluation for UCEDD projects. UCEDD projects are educational and community outreach programs in collaboration with entities such as the NE Department of Health and Human Services, NE Department of Education, NE Title V Maternal and Child Health, NE Department of Labor, other university entities, provider agencies and partners in our developmental disabilities network. The goal of UCEDD projects is to facilitate the inclusion of individuals in all aspects of the community. The project manager may be assisting with projects such as our Family Care Enhancement Program, Community Healthcare Worker training, Transition, Employment and College readiness, National Core Indicators, or other community or education outreach programs as assigned. This position will provide tracking and preparation of documents and materials related to project needs and assist with data collection and data management. The project manager will oversee logistics, administrative support, training of personnel and project teams as appropriate.
