Position Summary
The Assistant Coach for Volleyball will assist the Head Coach in the administration of all aspects of the volleyball program, including coaching, recruiting, contest scheduling, student-athlete mentoring, and ensuring that the program is compliant with all NCAA, Summit League, and University rules and regulations. This individual will assist with the promotion of the team, as well as the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Leadership and Management :
- This position will instruct student-athletes in the required skills necessary to compete at the highest level of competition in the collegiate game. Under the direction of the Head Coach, this position will motivate student-athletes; conduct individual skill instruction; coach specific positions / and or game situations; and periodically conduct team practices.
- This position will be relied upon to give effective feedback to staff and student-athletes in preparation for, and during, all practices and competitions.
