As a member of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and in partnership with other Technology Integration Specialists, this position is responsible for ensuring the functionality of the College’s classroom and online technologies, with a particular focus on the Clinical Performance Center/Simulation Center. The role also serves as a general support professional for student and faculty technology needs, including A/V equipment, software, Brightspace, lecture recordings, and student assessments. The position will provide technical support across the simulation center, classrooms, and lecture halls, and will offer training and assistance to faculty, clinicians, facilitators, staff, and medical students on the effective use of technology.

Responsibilities
Associate’s Degree in Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, or a related field, with two years of technical experience in information technology and media equipment presentations, or a combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technology support in the Clinical Performance Center (CPC), with primary responsibility for A/V equipment and software management.
- Collaborate with UNE ITS to maintain classroom technologies, including performing or assisting with software updates.
- Maintain and organize an inventory of external technology equipment (e.g., video cables, adapters, slide advancers, batteries).
- Work with administration, faculty, and staff to assess technology needs and support effective curriculum delivery.
- Ensure the functionality of courses and assessments in A/V and learning management systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and FERPA.
- Set up, record, and manage the successful recording of COM assessments, class lectures, and presentations.
- Provide technical support to students both inside and outside the classroom, particularly with A/V software, class assessments, and the learning management system during online exams.
- Provide technical training for faculty and support staff on software installation, A/V recording retrieval, and the use of course-related technologies.
- Serve as a backup for Year 1 and 2 Technology Integration Managers during exams or leave.
- Escalate simulation center and classroom technology issues to ITS as needed.
- Train and manage student A/V technicians to ensure effective operation and support.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of facility-wide, computer-based multi-media clinical skill assessment systems, including A/V monitoring, recording hardware/software, and robotic simulators.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and word-processing applications.
- Expertise in A/V monitoring, recording, and multimedia authoring/production tools.
- Familiarity with MAC and PC platforms.
- Experience with digital monitoring and recording, web design, and technical training is desirable.
- Ability to assess and manage the operational use and limits of A/V, simulation, and associated equipment, ensuring appropriate maintenance.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to varied audiences and learner levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technology issues independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with University personnel, students, and external vendors or organizations.
- Experience with Brightspace, ExamSoft, and/or Audience Response Systems is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
