Duties/Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate finance courses, such as Financial Management, Money and Banking, Investment Principles, Financial Modeling and Decision-Making, Investments, etc. based on expertise and department needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging course content that includes real-world applications in the finance industry, including emerging topics such as FinTech, ESG investing, and cryptocurrency.
- Design experiential learning opportunities such as case studies, financial simulations, and group projects that mirror real-world financial challenges.
- Participate in faculty meetings and curriculum planning sessions to contribute to academic initiatives and program development.
- Master’s degree (MPA, MPP or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrate online teaching experience at a college or university level OR equivalent professional experience in public service, government, or nonprofit sectors.
- Commitment to student success, engagement, and real-world application of public administration concepts.
- Doctorate (PhD, DPA) in Public Administration or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CPM, CGFM, and CGAP.
- Experience in online public administration education.
