Under general supervision from the Director of Clinical Education and Services and reporting to the Chair, responsible for managing a variety of operational details, administrative support, and coordination for the Clinical Programs of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD).
Duties/Responsibilities
- Exercise independent judgment and strong organizational and problem-solving skills to coordinate administrative activities.
- Responsible for handling clinic inquiries, clinic coordination, preparing correspondence, scheduling, and billing.
- Manage confidential records and complex filing systems and provide administrative support for coordinating off-campus externship placements.
- Utilize computer databases and applications.
- Oversee technology to support clinical education including laptops, iPads, headphones, and microphones.
- Work with faculty, students, and clients of all ages.
- Three years of related administrative support experience
- Working knowledge of office equipment such as computers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 software, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to perform detailed work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally to foster trust and support.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to self-start and learn new tasks.
