One postdoctoral position is available in condensed matter theory group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of New Hampshire. The candidate is expected to carry out applications of machine learning (ML)/artificial intelligence (AI) to various magnetism problems, including applying large language models to build database of magnetic materials, using ML models to explore algorithms for three-dimensional magnetic reconstruction, and exploring other applications of machine learning, broadly defined. Candidates should have a PhD in physics or a related field, and will be evaluated on their academic credentials and their prior research record.
