Job Details
Position / Specialty : Progressive Care Unit
Could potentially care for med / surg patients
Ratios : 1 : 5 (Possible 1 : 6); Hospital Operates at over 100% capacity
Years of experience REQ : 1 year
First-timers accepted : Yes
Weekend REQ : 2 per 4 week schedule; may vary by unit depending on unit needs
Guaranteed Hours : contracted hours (36 / 48 / 40) / week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment
Job Requirements
NM license can pend at time of submission
COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical
Special Requirements : IV starts, Telemetry
Schedule Information
36 or 48 hours contracts allowed
Floating : other PCU and lower acuity settings within skillset; med surg like floors; float to ED ratios are 1 : 5 in ED
RTO Restrictions : greater than 10 days needs approval
Open to accommodating block schedule? Not guaranteed
Locals accepted : No, within 75 miles
Unit Specific Information
OT Rules : 48 hour contracts - OT starts after 48; 36 or 40 hour contracts - OT starts after 40
Additional Details
A valid non-local driver’s license is required. Identification cards are not accepted.
