Job Details
Position / Specialty : Progressive Care Unit
Could potentially care for med / surg patients
Floating : other PCU and lower acuity settings within skillset; med surg like floors; float to ED ratios are 1 : 5 in ED.
Years of experience REQ : 1 year
First-timers accepted : Yes
Weekend REQ : 2 per 4 week schedule; may vary by unit depending on unit needs
Guaranteed Hours : contracted hours (36 / 48 / 40) / week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment
Job Requirements
NM license can pend at time of submission
COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical
Special Requirements : IV starts, Telemetry
Schedule Information
36 or 48 hours contracts allowed
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, to other PCU and lower acuity settings within skillset; float to ED
Open to accommodating block schedule? Not guaranteed

A valid non-local driver’s license is required. Identification cards are not accepted.
