Certification Details NM License RRT BLS ACLS NRP Job Details Position / Specialty : RRT NICU Avg Daily Census : 6-10 vents Years of experience REQ : 2 years First-timers accepted : Yes Weekend REQ : Weekends required as needed by the unit. Travelers are expected to work no more than 3 weekends in a row in order to accommodate unit needs Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment Skills required : NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Endotracheal tube / suctioning, extubation, nasal airway placement / suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy suctioning, Pulmonary toileting, ABG interpretation Special Requirements : Trauma Level I experience required Float to Adult units as needed COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical Job Requirements NM License RRT BLS ACLS NRP 2 years of experience required Schedule Information 36 or 48 hours per week No locals within 75 miles Floating to RRT Adults unit as needed RTO Restrictions : Greater than 7 days needs approval Unit Specific Information Float to Adult units as needed Special Requirements : Trauma Level I experience required Additional Details A valid non-local driver’s license is required.
