Position / Specialty : RRT NICU

Avg Daily Census : 6-10 vents

Years of experience REQ : 2 years

First-timers accepted : Yes

Weekend REQ : Weekends required as needed by the unit. Travelers are expected to work no more than 3 weekends in a row in order to accommodate unit needs

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment

Skills required : NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Endotracheal tube / suctioning, extubation, nasal airway placement / suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy suctioning, Pulmonary toileting, ABG interpretation

Special Requirements : Trauma Level I experience required

Float to Adult units as needed

COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical

Job Requirements

2 years of experience required

Schedule Information

36 or 48 hours per week

No locals within 75 miles

Floating to RRT Adults unit as needed

RTO Restrictions : Greater than 7 days needs approval

Unit Specific Information

Float to Adult units as needed

Special Requirements : Trauma Level I experience required

Additional Details

A valid non-local driver’s license is required. Identification cards are not accepted.

Copy of Social Security Card may be requested by client to verify SSN.

Required certifications must be verified during qualification process.

Salary : $1,836
