About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will work within the nursing process to provide direct care to assigned patients, promoting a positive work environment and delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver safe, direct care to an assigned group of patients, under the supervision of an RN Preceptor.
- Policies: Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies.
- Care Plan: Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
- Medication: Administer medication via the Seven Rights, documenting and communicating clinical findings.
- Tests and Procedures: Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
- Emergency Measures: Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients.
- Environment: Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Requirements:
- Education: Program Graduate (Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate)
- Experience: No minimum experience required
- Credentials: CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days, NM Board of Nursing Graduate Permit or RN License
Working Conditions:
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
