UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for an Office Supervisor to join our School Based Health Clinic. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The SBHC Program provides integrated medical and behavioral services, on campus in seven of the Albuquerque Public Schools for all students.
The position would be involved with clinic flow and daily operations of the 7 clinical sites, including directly supervising medical assistants. Experience with integrate health services is a plus.

Minimum $46,779 - Midpoint $58,479*
*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
Summary
Working under direct supervision of the UNMMG Practice Manager, Coordinates, oversees and/or performs a wide variety of administrative activities, which require advanced knowledge and skills, such as patient financial services including registration, scheduling, billing & collections, and patient flow. Responsible for administrative reports that may require research, analysis and correction; purchasing, inventory, and may serve as contact person of operational and administrative issues for internal and external constituencies and provides administrative support as required. Supervises back-office staff and the staff responsible for record keeping, filing systems and processes.
Minimum Job Requirements of a Office Clinic Supervisor:
High school diploma or GED with 5 years directly related experience. Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure will be required if selected for hire.
May be required to travel locally between facilities and within the surrounding community using a personal vehicle and possession of a valid NM driver's license.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Office Clinic Supervisor:
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the clinic(s) including but not limited to prior authorizations, registration, scheduling, deposit reconciliation and payroll, ordering office supplies and completing administrative forms. 2. Provides administrative support for the practice manager by coordinating the departmental activities as assigned. 3. Manage schedules for staff and provider positions including clinic coverage in conjunction with clinic management. 4. Implements and maintains record keeping and filing systems and processes; gathers, enters, and updates data. 5. In conjunction with clinic management, works with the UNMMG administrative offices to resolve problems that arise relative to billing, coding, and front desk responsibilities. 6. Supports the practice manager with reporting by researching information and correcting any information as required. 7. Assists in the establishment of work priorities and oversees workflow. 8. Trains support staff in performance of programmatic and administrative activities as appropriate to the position. 9. Supervises staff. 10. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
