Job Summary
The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Police Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
About the Position
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with campus administrators and departments to resolve problems and ensure compliance with the Campus Safety Policy. Additionally, you will assist in documenting and classifying incident reports and crime logs.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities for the Police Department
- Ensure compliance with the Clery Act and associated regulations
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with departments to resolve problems and ensure compliance with the Campus Safety Policy
- Assist in documenting and classifying incident reports and crime logs
- Support program objectives related to the Timely Warning Report Program and ensure annual testing meets all required components
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management with attention to detail
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with police communications and public safety protocols
- Experience with security cameras and access control
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
