- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Experience in professional or institutional photography lab or studio.
Experience in organizing, training, and supervising student employees.
Knowledge of photography, with technical and mechanical skills including darkroom processes and equipment for black-and-white photography, all aspects of digital photographic processes, and studio lighting.
Computer skills, especially with Macintosh operating systems, proficiency with Adobe software and color management, operating and maintaining desktop and large-format inkjet printers, troubleshooting and maintaining local area networks.
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures according to standard trade practices.
Experience in handling emergencies such as equipment breakdowns, chemical spills, or accidents.
Experience in establishing and enforcing lab policies and procedures.
Ability to multi-task and successfully interact with faculty, staff, and students.
