Applications must include: 1. a signed letter of interest that addresses listed qualifications, 2. a detailed curriculum vita including a list of courses or subject areas previously taught or within the candidate's ability to teach, as well as prior scholarship activities including presentations and publications, // 3. unofficial transcripts of undergraduate and graduate coursework completed in music, 4. a one-page teaching philosophy statement which includes pedagogical methods for music educations students, and strategies for recruiting, and retaining students, 5. a two-page maximum statement on diversity which demonstrates how the candidate will mentor/advise students from underrepresented populations and what role will be played to enrich the campus culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. This statement should also describe the candidate's past demonstrated actions that have promoted diversity, equity and inclusion. Quarterfinalists will be notified by November 15, 2024 and asked to submApplicants who are appointed to a UNM faculty position are required to provide an official certification of successful completion of all degree requirements prior to their initial employment with UNM.
