Job Title: Neuropsychology Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neuropsychology Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, promote rehabilitation and recovery, and support individuals and families in crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide services and resources to individuals and families necessary to promote rehabilitation, recovery, and resiliency.
- Identify and address the strengths and barriers that may aid or impede the development of skills needed for independent functioning in the community.
- Support individuals and families in crisis situations and provide personalized interventions to develop, facilitate, or enhance their ability to make informed and independent decisions.
- Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 1 year directly related experience.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification within 30 days.
- Possibility of bilingualism in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo.
Physical Conditions:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
The physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. May require walking or standing to a significant degree or requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or may require working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of materials is negligible.
The working conditions are Minor Hazard - physical risks, dirt, dust, fumes, noise.
This job is located in the Behavioral and Mental Health Department.
