What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coord,Academics position at University of New Mexico?
Plans and coordinates the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of an academic unit. Coordinates the recruitment, intake, and provision of administrative services to students; oversees scheduling and provides associated support services to faculty and staff. Duties typically include planning and administration, fiscal management and control, program implementation and administration, internal and external operational/administrative outreach and reporting.
This is an entry level position that will help with admission, purchasing, and event for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. This is a team -based position working with staff and faculty to meet the program's approximately 90 students. The position has a large amount of administrative duties such as:
* Note taking
* Greeting students and faculty at Front Desk
* Professional Email writing
* Creation of certificates, programs and other items as needed
* Answering calls from prospective students

- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
* Experience with UNM Banner system including:
o LoboWeb
o LoboMart
o ChromeRiver
* Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
* Database management experience
