What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Manager position at University of New Mexico?
The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Data Manager. Reporting directly to our Associate Director for Admissions and Recruitment, the Data Manager will manage, maintain, and provide reporting from our CRM system(s), specifically Salesforce and TargetX.

The successful candidate will have a passion for data accuracy and consistency, provide data analytics, application and student conversion rates, and assist in the documentation of processes.
Specific duties will include:
- Create, organize, customize, monitor, and maintain accurate dashboards for ASM CRM users;
- Perform data analysis and create reports for application data, program data, and email marketing data;
- Maintain accuracy of admission portal and ensure the portal reflects the current admission status of users;
- Run weekly de-duplication jobs. Review and merge all necessary duplicates;
- Monitor the success of email campaigns. Execute updates to email templates and create reports for campaigns;
- Create and maintain application reports, program reports, email marketing, and list views for CRM users;
- Assist in documenting the CRM processes. This includes, but is not limited to: "How to" documents, communication flows, application process flow, portal content, CRM back flows, etc.;
- Serve as a backup to process program applications in the CRM. Assist in processing applications when appropriate and necessary;
- Troubleshoot application and portal issues if/when they occur;
- Participate in system upgrades and configuration;
- Train and assist other system users;
- Attend UNM Central IT meetings on integration, system updates, and system to system communications.

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated technical experience with Salesforce, TargetX, or other similar CRM system
- Strong data analysis skills
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful reports and/or user dashboards
- Ability to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated organizational skills in past work experience
