Position Summary | The HSC Faculty ContractsOffice seeks a highly motivated organized person to join our team. It is achallenging position that requires an individual who is dedicated to excellencein customer service and excels at managing multiple competing deadlines andresponsibilities. This individual will administerand assist in human resource and hiring matters concerning HSC faculty,postdoctoral fellows, and temporary part-time faculty. This includes: * Providing operational andadministrative support to the HSC Faculty Contracts staff * Providing advice andassistance to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and staff on hiring, employmentpolicies and procedures and benefits * Conducting benefitsorientation * Maintaining source data andrecords utilizing an internal database and Banner * Processing of Volunteerfaculty and affiliates * Administering and monitoringfaculty payroll and nonstandard payments and ensuring accurate and timely achievementof payroll deadlines while maintaining the accuracy of payroll and demographicdata * Administering, verifying, andmonitoring I-9s and documentation * Other miscellaneousjob-related duties See the Position Description for additional information. |

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
