Position Summary

The University of New Mexico, School ofMedicine and Health Sciences Center is seeking an incumbent that willcontribute actively to the climate of diversity & inclusivity. We invite applications for an open rank, open track full-time facultyposition in Gynecology. UNM's Gynecology Division has a busy clinicalpractice, and is active in research and education.

The successful incumbent must meet the listed minimum requirements andprovide a current curriculum vitae at the time of application and ademonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, aswell as working with broadly diverse communities. This position offers a competitivecompensation (salary commensurate with experience) and benefits package toinclude health, professional liability and disability insurance, relocationsupport, retirement plan, and CME support.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics andGynecology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board ofPharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching students and residents
  • Clinical skills and scholarly activity
  • Experience working within a managed care environment
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience or interest in research activity and career development
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and studentsuccess, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
