UNMNeurology seeks twoNeurologist positions to join our Neurology/NeuroCritical Care team. Thepositions will be part of a team of faculty providing quality patient care inthe inpatient and outpatient setting at UNM Hospital. Clinical responsibilities includecoverage/call on Neurology ICU and inpatient services. Academic responsibilities includeparticipation in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Research responsibilities includeparticipating in grants and clinical trials in the department.

UNMHospital is the tertiary care center for the State and the only ComprehensiveStroke Center, NAEC level 4 epilepsy center, and ALS / MDA center in the State. The UNM Neurology Department has 45 full-time and part-time attendingphysicians and is home to well-established Residency and multiple Fellowshipprograms.

Salary: salary commensurate with qualifications andexperience

Minimum Requirements:

• MD degree or equivalent
• Board eligible or certified in Neurology.
• Board eligible or certified in neurocritical care or established neurocritical fellowship training, completed by start date.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

PreferredRequirements:

• 2-3 years of clinical experience in neurological care.
• A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
