Job Description:
This position offers 2-3 hours/week. Student must be available for a shift on Fridays, usually from 12-2pm. Salary starts at $12.00.
The Paper Closet Assistant sells supplies to students, faculty and staff out of the Paper Closet in the Printmaking Area of the Art Department. During their shift they will provide customers with material goods in exchange for payment (in the form of Lobocash, checks and money orders) and maintain records of sales through an online Quick Books platform. They may also be required to: unpack, label, sort, replenish and move materials around, cut down various matrices into smaller sizes and help with periodic inventory counts. Knowledge of material for sale and familiarity with printmaking processes is helpful.
The Paper Closet Assistant needs to have completed at least one printmaking class, though more experience is preferred. Must be dependable, trustworthy and possess appropriate customer service skills. Work-study qualified candidates are given preference over those without.
