Job Description
The University of New Mexico-Valencia is seeking applicants for Program Coordinator who will work under direct supervision of the Police Command Officer coordinating day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities for the Police Department.
In this role, you will collaborate with campus administrators and departments to ensure the institution's compliance with the Clery Act and associated regulations. This includes disclosing safety information, providing training, and preparing and distributing the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
You will also facilitate workshops/meetings with departments for problem resolution and ensure compliance with the Campus Safety Policy. Additionally, you will collaborate with Police Department personnel to ensure proper documentation and classification of incident reports and crime logs.
This position supports the program objectives in relation to the Timely Warning Report Program, ensuring tests are completed each year meeting all required components. You will perform administrative tasks such as department communication (telephone/radio), data entry, copying, scanning, filing, email, and permits.
