- Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
- Possession of a valid New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be a requirement for this job.
- As a CDL driver, the employee will be required to comply with all provisions of DOT Regulation 49 CFR Parts 40 and 382, including random drug and alcohol testing.
- Must maintain certification status.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Certification/Licensure: Certification as an Automotive Mechanic or equivalent.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- 10 years' experience managing a shop or similar facility.
- Past employee management and employee development
- Experience with budgeting and purchasing utilizing Government contracts
- Customer service experience
