The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Primary Grade, Supervising Teacher at Kilby Laboratory School. This position is an elementary teacher in the primary grades, teaching all subjects to one class. In addition to working with elementary students, the teacher will also supervise student interns, accommodate clinical experiences in the classroom, conduct classroom research, serve on committees, and participate in other job-related activities. The successful candidate must have a clear understanding of the Alabama Reading Initiative, Alabama Math/Science/Technology Initiative, College and Career Ready Standards, and be committed to implementing innovative practice. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience based on the Alabama State Salary Matrix.
