The UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School is seeking a Director of Development to be a part of a successful and dynamic major gifts team. The Director of Development will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts of $100,000 and above from individual alumni and friends of the business school, and will have other related responsibilities. The Director will build relationships with Kenan-Flagler’s leadership, faculty, and key donors and prospects and will have significant interaction with alumni volunteers. The position will be located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with related experience. For positions with responsibility for direct solicitation of gifts and funds, a minimum of 1 year of professional-level, direct solicitation/fundraising experience is required.

- Preference will be given to candidates with a relevant post-Baccalaureate degree (or foreign degree equivalent).
- Preference for higher education/university experience, especially a connection to UNC-CH.
- Experience closing gifts over $100,000 is preferred.
- Prefer experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or fundraising databases (ex. Blackbaud).
