Position Summary
Primary purpose of this position is to ensure the validity, integrity, quality and reproducibility of data collected; protection of rights and well-being of subjects and protocol compliance along with other applicable regulatory requirements, and site SOP for all participating sites conducting clinical research for UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Monitoring will follow the determined monitoring plan which falls under the Data and Safety Monitoring Plan. Communicate findings with UNC and site PIs and manage required corrective action for any deficiencies.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Previous experience in clinical trials is required.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Prior clinical research monitoring. Oncology preferred. Experience in clinical research.
