Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking individuals with clinical and research interests in childhood cancer for a variable term, open rank faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Rank and protected time will be determined at a level commensurate with the applicant’s experience and accomplishments. Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient care, participation in clinical trials, and the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students in a children’s hospital and comprehensive cancer center setting. Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is required.

The Division currently includes 18 physicians and 13 nurse practitioners. Divisional interests include solid tumors, neuro-oncology, childhood cancer survivorship, stem cell transplantation, CAR-T cell therapies, sickle cell anemia, thrombosis, and hemostasis.
