What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lecturer in Innovation position at University of North Carolina at Greensboro?
The Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality & Tourism (MEHT) in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro invites applications for one (1) full-time Non-Tenure Track Lecturer opening in Innovation. The position will commence on August 1, 2025. This is not a remote work position and those selected must reside in, or relocate to, North Carolina.
Applicants should hold a master’s degree in a business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related discipline and have a minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience. The candidate must be capable of teaching Innovation from a broad perspective that is applicable to students from all areas of business while working in a department that includes the marketing, entrepreneurship, and hospitality areas.
We shall favorably consider professional experience that is more directly related to innovation, experience teaching innovation, and experience with experiential teaching, but these are not requirements for the position. Performance expectations include teaching via face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats at undergraduate and graduate levels, and participating in professional, university, school, and department/program service. We are seeking teaching coverage in any the following areas: innovation, innovation strategy, and innovation ventures.
