Work Schedule | Typical schedule is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week. Days off vary due to event schedules. The incumbent in this position is required to have a flexible schedule to accommodate event coverage as assigned including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. This position is designated as mandatory staff during adverse weather or emergency events and, when contacted to report to work, the employee is expected to reach the campus as quickly as possible using normal precautions as dictated by adverse weather conditions. In the event of an area disaster, the Student Activity Center may be designated for use as an emergency shelter or for emergency operations. |

Primary Purpose of Position | Manage daily operations of Halton Arena (as well as other athletic facilities as directed) to include safety, event set-ups, routine maintenance/repairs, and housekeeping functions within athletic facilities. Serve as liaison with EHS and Facilities Management. Serve as alternate as Operations Manager for large-scale events. |
Summary of Position Responsibilities | Support the Senior Director of Operations to manage the Athletic Facilities' daily operations, events, and staff. |
Minimum Education/Experience | Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, and four years of experience in Athletic Arena or Conference Center setting, two years of which must have been supervisory; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |
