Primary Purpose of Department | The Niblock Student Center is a comprehensive student services office that provides advising, coaching, programming, and events to facilitate academic planning, career development, and professional growth for undergraduate business students. The professional development (PD) team is one of two teams housed within the Center. The PD team promotes skill development through experiential learning, creates and delivers professional development courses and programming, and engages students with industry. The Niblock Student Center operates within Undergraduate Programs in the Belk College of Business. Accredited by AACSB International, the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte offers outstanding business education programs in a variety of disciplines. The college has nearly 4,000 undergraduate students, 800 graduate students and over 90 full-time faculty members. The Belk College is one of the largest business programs in the Carolinas. |
Primary Purpose of Position | The Professional Development & Student Experience Program Manager will advance the Niblock Student Center mission through implementation of career and professional development programming and employer relations strategies in an effort to help undergraduate students best plan and prepare for a full-time career post graduation and connect them with employment resources. |
Summary of Position Responsibilities |

Minimum Education/Experience | A Master's degree in business, career counseling, student development, higher education, or related field is required. Proven presentation and facilitation skills that enable effective, influential communication with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, alumni and business community are vital to this position. |
