Call Center Representative - Temp
Salary/Position Classification
- $15.75 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 19 hours per week (May 12-August 30, 2025)
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
The Office of Admissions is looking for a Call Center Representative who will answer phone calls and emails in our Admissions Call Center. This position also helps greet and check-in visitors at the Admissions office front desk and fill in as a tour guide when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls
- Respond to emails
- Greet and check in visitors
- Fill in as a tour guide when needed
Required Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Able to work as part of a diverse team.
- Ability to sit at a desk for 1-4 hours and communicate via phone and email.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass the driver’s training requirement.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
