Part-Time Dining Room Attendant/Utility (Non-Student)
Salary/Position Classification
- 15.65 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-29 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non exempt position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains Dining room/assist with Service Areas cleaning and appearance
- Insures and stocks clean napkins, flatware, glassware, salt and peppers, and table media
- Cleans tabletops, chairs, booths, picks up trash, and vacuums carpet areas.
- Spot clean glass and windows when required.
- Cleans floors in the following areas: Kitchen, service areas, restrooms, storerooms, and dining rooms
- Sweeps appropriate areas when needed
- Stocks various inventory items in the kitchen, restrooms and dining rooms: fills soap and towel dispensers
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
Required Competencies
- Able to stand on one's feet for 3 -4 hours
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen
- Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities
- Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of food service experience
