General Description / Primary Purpose :
The Department of Leadership, School Counseling and Sport Management is seeking a 9-month, tenure-earning, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership. This position will report to The Chair of Leadership, School Counseling and Sport Management. Position responsibilities include contributing to the mission and vision of the College of Education and Human Services and engaging in a 2 / 2 teaching load or its equivalent and service.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellence in inclusive and engaging instruction, high-quality scholarship, and cultivating community relationships.
Anticipated Start Date : The position is expected to begin on August 4, 2025.
Working Hours : Varies
Supervision Exercised : This is not a supervisory role.
About the Department : The Department of Leadership, School Counseling, and Sport Management offers professional studies suitable for students interested in several education careers paths. Master of Education programs are offered in school leadership, early childhood leadership, higher education administration, educational leadership, educational technology, school counseling, ASL / English Interpreting, and athletic administration and a Doctor of Education program is offered in educational leadership.
