$16.76 to Negotiable HourlyThe Development Associate plays a critical part in advancing the university’s philanthropic initiatives by providing administrative, operational, and strategic support to the Development team. Responsibilities include maintaining data accuracy in the fundraising database, generating reports, assisting with donor stewardship, and supporting the gift agreement process. The Development Associate will also help scheduling visits, coordinate the logistics for board meetings, and special projects, including college-specific fundraising priorities.
Job Function
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Supports the Assistant Vice President-Development Officers, Directors and Assistant Directors of Development.
-Provides proofreading and document review to maintain standardized formatting and grammatical accuracy.
- Maintain and manage donor databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement donor engagement strategies.
-Assists with drafting and tracking of Gift Agreements as needed.
-Supports the planning and staffing of volunteer council meetings including preparation of agendas, meeting notices, RSVPs and meeting minutes.
- Assists with expense reports.
- Keeps minutes, memos, letters, reports and other documents for internal and external circulation.
- Maintains filing and organization.
- Assists Development Team with tasks and projects as needed.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
