Job Description
Provide UNF affiliates access to information resources/materials at the Thomas G. Carpenter Library by performing various functions such as the following:
- Staff service desks
- Assist patrons in accessing materials/resources online and in person
- Answer general informational questions via phone, email, and in person at service desks;
- Assist and instruct patrons in navigating library’s website
- Assist staff with daily functions, including opening library, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Available to work Mondays – Fridays 7 a.m. to 11 a.m . (6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on days when your assistance is needed to open) ; possible additional paid hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic library skills
- Basic general library equipment(printer, photocopier, scanner)skills
