This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns, supporting the coordination of campus and community engagement activities , and providing vital support in the management of marketing and communications projects . The project c oordinator will work closely with various team members to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and maintain alignment with UNF's branding and communication goals.
Marketing Support and Coordination
Support the coordination of marketing campaigns, including assistance tracking timelines, budgets, deliverables and required resources to ensure campaigns are successfully executed
Maintain effective relationships with internal departments, faculty, staff and external vendors to support alignment of brand strategies and university priorities
Gather information and research as needed; e.g. best practices, marketing trends and other information relating to institutions of higher ed and enrollment
U pdate and create professional presentations that effectively communicate campaign goals, outcomes and strategies to stakeholders
Support the production and procurement of print collateral , promotional and other item s needed to promote the university
Maintain updated proof points, university highlights and key differentiators
O ther duties as assigned by the Associate VP of Marketing and Communications and Project Manager
Engagement Coordination
With direction from AVP, support o rganiz ation and logistics for community and campus engagement events, including scheduling, vendor coordination and on-site assistance
Serve as a point of contact for event-related inquiries and details
Represent the department with professionalism at events, engaging with students, staff and external partners
Project Management Support
Assist in planning and executing multi-channel campaigns to promote the university’s strategic initiatives
Assist with the planning and coordination of project timelines, tasks and resources
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and project plans
Schedule and communicate project meetings, prepare and maintain agendas, and follow up on action items
Identify and escalate potential project issues or risks to the project manager
Assist in the creation and maintenance of processes and best practices with supporting documentation for consistency in workflows
Departmental Requirements
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with design software such as Canva, Adobe products or similar
Experience working in higher education or community engagement activities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while demonstrating independence and initiative

Required Qualifications:
This position requires either (a) Bachelor's degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization; (b) or a high school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
