This is a part-time staff position that will work 25 hours per week through May 31, 2025. The position will provide post-award support to investigators and set up funds for new awards. Additionally, the position will:
  • Review new awards for compliance with federal regulations and sponsor policies.
  • Reconcile budgets for new awards.
  • Monitor grant activity for assigned PIs.
  • Process journal entries.
  • Monitor sub-award activity.
  • Facilitate effort certification.
  • Assist investigators with fiscal reporting award close-out.
  • Assist with invoicing on active awards.
  • Maintain funding databases for assigned PIs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of post-award experience.

These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

Background Check
Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has been made. The successful candidate must submit original transcripts within one (1) month of hire.

This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
