Job Description
Primary Function: Serves as accounting and finance resource for the Metal Casting Center (MCC) and Foundry 4.0 Center (F4C); identifies and evaluates grant and other funding opportunities; prepares initial draft of grant applications; provides financial and operational technical assistance to client businesses; hires and supervises student staff; provides financial oversight to existing grants and other sources of revenue; develops annual budget; and participates in strategic planning efforts.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Remote work must be performed within the state of Iowa. Employees who elect remote work must comply with the requirements of our remote work policy and agreement.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field; at least two years of account management experience and/or business ownership experience required. Master’s degree in finance or accounting; experience in grant management and administration in a non-profit or public sector organization preferred.
