What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial position at University of Northern Iowa.?
- Responsibilities : Under direct supervision, performs custodial duties necessary for the general maintenance of buildings which involve tasks that require carrying, lifting, bending;
- empties trash and recycling; changes light bulbs in assigned areas using stepladder; shovels snow and spreads ice melt to maintain building entrances;
reports needed repairs by completing repair slips; fills out order forms for requesting cleaning materials, supplies, etc.
locks and unlocks doors; operates machines to facilitate cleaning activities; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications : Ability to read, write, and follow directions. Prior cleaning experience preferred.Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 5 : 00 am to 1 : 30 pm.
