Job Description
Under general supervision, performs secretarial duties for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (CI); answers the telephone; provides information on CI, COE, and programs; makes calendar appointments for the Department Head; maintains central and satellite office areas; coordinates with the Department Head on communication requests, forms, reports, supplies, meetings, equipment, and students' needs; keeps and maintains records; assists Department Head with graduate and curriculum processes; assists Divisions and special programs, as time permits; serves as backup for Secretary III when necessary; and provides limited website updates; makes purchases upon request; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Any combination of related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full-time employment and includes the use of word processing.
