Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs secretarial duties for the Political Science Department and maintains office operation; maintains department budget; coordinates faculty evaluation processes; coordinates class scheduling; compiles reports and provides factual information requiring a knowledge of the policies and procedures of both the assigned and related work areas; assists with planning department-sponsored events; assists students with questions, registration, and referral; coordinates student workers; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Any combination of related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment and includes the use of word processing.
