Job Description
Primary Function: Serves as assistant to Head Golf Coach; assists with team practice sessions and meets; instructs team members in strategies and techniques; provides assistance in coordination of golf team recruitment activities; aids in the development of team contest schedule; counsels student athletes concerning academic progress; assists in fundraising activities; transports student athletes to practices and meets as necessary; and completes related duties as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of collegiate golf coaching or collegiate golf playing experience required. Division I experience; and sole supervision during team travel and team practice experience preferred. Student and volunteer experience will be considered. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa.
